Books co-authored with Valerie Hickey are jointly owned works — copyright is shared equally between Christopher Leece and Valerie Hickey. Neither party may exploit these works without the agreement of the other.
Hybrid Creation Disclosure: Illustrative works are produced through a proprietary "Human-in-the-Loop" process. This involves initial concept generation via AI, followed by extensive manual digital composition, editing, and transformation using the Adobe Creative Suite. This transformative process constitutes original human authorship under UK copyright law.

Trademark Registration
The Mancsstuff trademark has been examined and accepted by the UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) and is currently in its opposition period. Full registration follows automatically if no opposition is filed within the publication period.

Ancestors Awakening — Drum Collection
The 13 lunar moon drums featured on this website are part of the Ancestors Awakening: Neolithic Treasure collection.
The concept, curation, and documentation of the 13-phase lunar moon drum collection are the intellectual property of Christopher Leece. All drum designs and curation concepts are protected under UK copyright law.
The drums were birthed by Edwina Staniforth and the artwork was created by Peter Yankowski. Christopher Leece acts as curator of this collection — believed to be the world's first complete set of 13 lunar moon drums.
All intellectual property rights relating to the drum artwork and construction remain with the respective creators. Any enquiries regarding the collection should be directed to hello@mancsstuff.com.
The Manchester Maze — Interactive Memoir
The Manchester Maze is a free browser-based interactive memoir available at mancsstuff.github.io/The-Manchester-Maze-Game/. It is provided as-is, free of charge, for entertainment and creative-storytelling purposes.
Content Warning & Age Restriction
The game is based on the published memoir of Christopher Ryan Leece and contains references to violence, drug use, bullying, addiction and self-harm. Names, places and events have been fictionalised. Recommended for ages 16 and over. An age confirmation gate appears before play.
Mental health support is signposted within the game (Samaritans 116 123 · text SHOUT to 85258).
The game code, narrative, illustrations and audio are copyright Christopher Leece trading as Mancsstuff. You may share the link freely. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or repurpose the game code or content commercially without written permission.
The game collects no personal data. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking. Hosting is provided by GitHub Pages — their standard server logs may apply.

Public liability cover is held through Broker Express (part of the Eaton Gate group), policy number BE26ACTT000000017867. Limit of indemnity: £2,000,000 (£1,000,000 for claims arising from the application of heat). Insurance effective 27 April 2026 to 26 April 2027.
Underwritten by SiriusPoint International Insurance Corporation (UK Branch). Certificate available on request.

Books. All books are sold through Amazon KDP. Purchases are subject to Amazon's own terms and conditions. Mancsstuff is not responsible for delivery, returns, or payment issues on Amazon — please contact Amazon directly for those.
Digital products and courses. Digital products operated under separate Mancsstuff brands (see Section 06) are governed by the terms published on each product's own site.
Intellectual property. All content on mancsstuff.com — including text, images, game content, book content, brand names, and logos — is owned by Christopher Leece trading as Mancsstuff and protected by UK copyright and trademark law. You may link to this site freely. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use our content commercially without written permission.

What data we collect: When you email us or use a contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message.
Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR Article 6): We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, to respond to your enquiry. Where you have given explicit consent via a contact form checkbox, we also rely on consent as a lawful basis.
Why we collect it: Solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent.
How long we keep it: We retain enquiry data for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted unless you have become a client. Royalty and tax records are retained for 7 years (HMRC requirement). Legal correspondence is retained for 7 years.
Book purchases: All book sales are handled by Amazon KDP. Amazon processes all customer data independently. Mancsstuff receives only aggregated sales reports (units sold, royalties) — no buyer names, emails, or addresses are shared with us.
Who we share data with: Zoho Mail (EU-hosted, our email provider), GitHub Pages (website hosting, US/Microsoft), Amazon KDP and Amazon Associates (US), and Kuits Solicitors (UK, for legal matters only). We do not sell your data to anyone.
Your rights under UK GDPR: You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict processing, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mancsstuff.com with the subject line "Data Request."
