We restore and upcycle furniture that the world's written off — finding the grain, fixing the bones, and turning it into something you'll want to keep forever. We also take commissions for bespoke pieces designed around your space, your taste, and your budget.

We take commissions for portraits, places and pets. We sell original works and limited print runs. And everything connects to a wider creative world — the #BooksAndBenches project, the lunar moon drum collection, and 7 published books that prove we take storytelling seriously in every medium.

Do you work with clients outside Manchester?
−Absolutely — we work UK-wide. Artwork and branding is fully remote. Furniture can be shipped to most UK addresses or collected from Oldham. We're based in Greater Manchester but our work travels.
How long does a project take?
+A logo typically takes 2–3 weeks. An artwork commission is usually 1–3 weeks. Furniture restoration varies — a basic refresh might be a few days, a bespoke commission 4–6 weeks. We'll always give you a realistic timeline upfront.
Do you require a deposit?
+Yes — we ask for a 50% deposit before we start, with the remainder due on completion. This protects both of us and lets us get started without delay.
Can I commission something completely custom?
+That's what we're here for. Furniture built around your exact room, a painting of a specific place, a brand for a business that defies category — bring us your idea and we'll figure it out together.
I have a small budget. Is that OK?
+Talk to us. We'd rather have an honest conversation and find something that works than turn away a project with real potential. Our pricing starts low because we believe good design shouldn't only be for people with big budgets.
